And students with special needs are no exception. Like any other special needs students, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Specific Learning Difficulties—such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Language Difficulties—go through certain learning process that is influenced by several factors.
Despite all the challenges, we will run you through a list of strategies based on Positive Psychology approach to enhance students’ awareness of what they have learned at school. Through positive activities, students practice to seek positive events that they experienced earlier. When they recall such moments, it elicits content feelings so the lessons learned tend to be long-lasting.
