Mapping individual cognitive profile of children is an important step to discover the key causes of children challenges in following teaching & learning activities in the classroom. By knowing comprehensive children’s cognitive profile, teachers can determine effective teaching strategies that are suitable for children’s learning needs. Cattell-Horn-Carroll Theory will not only provide the cognitive abilities profile in general, but also describe 8 areas of specific cognitive abilities.
Main focus are:
(1)    understanding children’s cognitive abilities profile as an individual
(2)    using children’s cognitive abilities profile to determine the best teaching & learning strategies in the classroom
